Best Fudge in America by Paula Dean

We are so honored to be rated fourth best fudge in America in the November 2013 issue of Cooking with Paula Deen.  According to her magazine, Schmidt's Fudge Haus is located in Historic German Village just outside Columbus, Ohio. Using an old-world process, they create the finest Belgian-inspired fudge. With ingredients such as roasted pecans, caramel, walnuts, peanut butter, and marshmallows, their fudge is full of complex flavors that keep visitors coming back for more.

"We've always believed our fudge shop made the best fudge available online," says owner of Schmidt's German Village Fudge Haus, Tim Dick. "This recognition is proof that our old fashion way of making chocolate with copper kettles and marble slabs makes the creamy and smooth flavor last longer than normal fudge."

Deen's magazine sampled fudge from chocolatiers all over the country and we are honored to be among the list of the top 10 in the country.
